Gyalo Thondrup, elder brother of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama (Tenzin Gyatso born Lhamo Döndrub ) spoke at the Santa Barbara Jewish Community Center on Earth Day, April 22, 2009.

Mr. Thondrup expressed his hope to learn from the Jewish community and other interested friends and supporters ways of strengthening the survival of people in exile.

Next to Mr. Thondrup is Dr. Lita Rawdin Singer photographer, author, and Assistant to the Curator.
